7-Way Trailer Wiring Kit for 2020 Ford F-150 without Trailer Wiring

Question:
I have a 2020 xlt Ford F-150 without a trailer package on it. I had my Ford dealer install a factory controller but they wouldn’t install a aftermarket 7 pin plug in the back for the trailer to plug into. Will the Curt C56413 work for my truck? Is all the truck wiring from the controller running to the back of the truck? Can I just plug the C56413 tee plug in and it will work with the factory controller that my Ford dealer installed?

For your 2020 Ford F-150 that does not have the factory 7-way all you need to install one is the part # C56413 that you referenced. Your vehicle does have brake controller wiring currently so this would tie right into what you have now and your brake controller would be active.
