What parts do I need to install the redarc tow pro in my 22 Subaru Ascent?

If your 2022 Subaru Ascent has the factory tow package with the factory installed 7-way trailer connector, it will have the factory brake controller connector located above the driver's side kick panel forward of the hood latch as shown in the provided photo. From there you'll just need the wiring harness # 3062-P to quickly and easily install your Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller - 2 Braking Modes - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional # RED44FR. The white connector will plug into your Ascent's tow package and the black connector will plug into your brake controller.
If your Ascent does NOT have a factory 7-way, you'll need to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118790 wiring harness and then install the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7 to install the brake controller.
