Question:

We installed a Roadmaster tow bar and diode light kit for our 2020 Jeep Rubicon. We took our first trip and the Jeep battery went dead when we arrived in Colorado. What do we need to do to either disconnect battery or run a charge line from RV thru 6 way on tow bar to Jeep battery? I’m still not sure why Jeep battery ran down? Is there a charge line kit that will fix this problem?

Yes, there is a charge line kit that will eliminate this issue for you. You will need the following items:

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes, part # RM-156-75
Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles, part # RM-156-25.

The motorhome charge kit will connect that battery to your 6-way connector on the rear of your motorhome. The battery charge line kit for towed vehicles will connect your 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon's battery to its 6-way connector. Once connected, your Jeep's battery will be charged by your motorhome's battery.
