Both the Derale transmission coolers you mentioned would work great installed on your 2010 Chevy Silverado with a 4.8 liter V8. The part # D13960 is the more efficient style of cooler as it has a stacked plate whereas the # D13950 is a plate and fin cooler which is still really effective but not quite as effective as the stacked plate. Now both of these are easily more powerful than you'd need to get the job done so if you go with either you'll have very cool transmission fluid that will prolong life of it.
