Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2004 Lincoln Town Car
Updated 11/06/2013 | Published 11/05/2013 >
Question:
Im looking for a more robust unit than probably most people would. Ive worked with cars for years and light having a little extra precaution when buying parts. Is the 9000 series one of the better products? Also, what other fittings will I need for my 2004 Town Car? THANKS

The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D13503 would be an excellent choice for your 2004 Lincoln Town Car. This is a fairly large plate-fin transmission cooler that should do an excellent job keeping your transmission fluid cool.
Other than the # D13503 you would also want the Derale Radiator Adapter # D13014 so that you would not have to cut or flare any lines.
I attached an FAQ article on transmission coolers for you to check out also.
