Question:
I have a 2016 Lightning car hauler LTFCH824TA3. It has a roof vent and the cover is cracked. I have contacted the mfg and they have been less than helpful, other than saying the vent may be an Elixer, they have no other info. What might I need to identify this vent and to possibly find a replacement?

Your best bet in identifying the vent would be to find a part number or other information printed on or attached to the vent itself. Based on what the manufacturer said I would take a look at the Elixir roof vent replacement lids and see if they match what you currently have.
We have a few different options and colors available. The Replacement Lid for Ventline and Elixir RV Roof Vents - Polypropylene - White # CAM40155 and the same in Smoke # CAM40148 are your best bet. These measure 14" x 14" and fit post 1994 Elixir roof vents.
If this does not seem to be the right replacement, feel free to send a picture and I will do my best to help you better identify the roof vent you have.
