Question:
Hi, I have a 2021 SeaDoo MOVE aluminum trailer made by Karavan I believe. It came with 4.80x12B tires and I’d like to upgrade to radials because most of my towing is on the highway. I’d also like to switch to 13” tires – as long as it fits under the fender, is there any reason why 13s would cause concern? Thanks!

From my research on your 2021 SeaDoo MOVE trailer, it looks like you have a 5 on 4-1/2 lug pattern on your wheels. We do have radial tires in your current size (4.80x12). That is the Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT48012C with the Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized Finish # AM20134.
In addition, we also have a combination of tire/rim for the 13-inch size you want. That is the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 # AM31952. The potential issue that you may face with your fenders is if you do not have adequate room to accommodate the larger size. We usually recommend a minimum of 3 inches between the fenders and the tires. To get a good idea of that measurement, the diameter of the # AM31952 is 24.1 inches when inflated compared to the 20.63 inch diameter of the 4.80x12 tires.
With this being said, I recommend sticking to the original tire size. I went ahead and linked some video reviews for you to check out.
