Question:

I'm thinking about adding air bags to my 2022 Ram 2500. I'm typically towing my Jayco travel trailer and need some extra support, plus I like the idea of being able to control them depending on whatever else I might be doing. What air bags do you think are best?

For your 2022 Ram 2500 I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2598. When it comes to air bags you can't beat the quality of Firestone. These are double convoluted and use a rolled crimp seal to keep the bags securely anchored. The air bags will help keep you level and reduce rear suspension strain. They can also be deflated when you aren't towing so they won't impact ride quality.

In order to be able to easily control them from the cab of your truck, I also recommend the Firestone Air Command II - Analog Gauge w/ Heavy Duty Compressor - Dual Function - 150 psi # F2219. This compressor system has a dual-guage control panel and will allow you to control each air bag individually. This will also eliminate the need to find an air compressor should you need to add air to your air bags.
