Question:
Im looking for a rear view camera to add to my RV. Its a motor home with a back-up camera. It only shows whats behind me when Im backing up. It stays on until I get above 20 MPH, I need one that is always on. I need to be able to see when its safe to switch lanes.

It sounds like you are actually looking for an observation system and we have some great options for this. Similar to a backup camera, the observation system consists of a rear mounted camera but instead of only displaying while backing up, it stays on with the running light circuit so the camera will have power whenever the running lights are on. The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera part # FOS43TASF is what I recommend. If your main concern is merging then you may want to consider the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation part # FCE48TASL-05 which has traffic cameras more geared towards merging.
