looking at an axle/spindle nut and washer for a dexter 10k lb axle, nut that has cotter key that run thru it, cant seem to find them

Since the Dexter 10k axles have a 1-1/2 inch threaded diameter the correct replacement nuts would be the # 6-96. The tang washer you could use with this would be # 5-59.

The D80 you mentioned in the info you found indicates that you do have a Dexter 8k axle. If you are looking for a replacement hub for this axle the part #8-287-14UC1 is a 8k rated Dexter hub designed to fit that spindle.

Yes, the Dexter hub part #8-287-14UC1 can have grease used in it instead of oil. The only difference is the seal which an oil seal works just fine with grease.
