Will Timbren Suspension Enhancement Help with Trailer Proposing
Updated 11/29/2021 | Published 11/27/2021 >
Question:
My truck is rated for more than my travel trailer. I use a weight distribution system and their sitting level. I still get a porpoising motion while towing. Will timbens cure this? I have new tires rated for my truck I feel Im doing everything right.

Installing Timbrens like part # TGMRCK25D on your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 can help give you more control, but a properly rated weight distribution system should negate the use of any kind of suspension enhancement on your pickup, especially if it's rated well over your trailer weight rating.
What I recommend doing is checking the tongue weight of your trailer prior to adding a Timbren kit to your pickup. A properly loaded trailer will have a tongue weight that is 10-15% of the weight of the trailer. You can use a bathroom scale, weigh station scale, or a portable tongue weight scale like part # e99044 to make sure you get the tongue weight right.
Once you know you have the best tongue weight for your loaded trailer if you're still experiencing issues then adding the Timbrens would be a good next step (as long as your weight distribution system is rated correctly).
