Dimensions of the Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Mounted Load Extender -

I have a question about your load extender by Darby. What is the material this is made out of and how thick is it? Also what are the actual demensions. I am looking to store it somewhere when not in use, and I need to know how big it is when assembled. If you could tell me how big the cross bar is and the length of the , as well as how big the hitch extender is.

The Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Mounted Load Extender, item # DTA944, is made of 2 inch and 2-1/4 inch square tube steel that is 1/8 inch thick and has a load limit of 350 pounds. The overall width of the cross bar is 49 inches with 48 inches between the tie down loops. The shipping box the extender comes in measures 52-1/2 inches by 14-1/2 inches by 3 inches thick. The design of the extender allows it to be stored flat behind the seat of a pickup.

There are numerous other measurements on our product page (see link) to help you figure out if this is the right item for your needs.
