I just went out to the warehouse and measured the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C15845. I have attached a couple of diagrams with the dimensions of this hitch on them.

From the center of the back bolt to the front of the receiver is 26"

The crossbeam is 4" X 4"

From the center of the back bolt to the crossbeam is 18" rear 22" front

Jerred, I am looking for a class 5, 2.5"reciever hitch for my 1978 Chevy Silverado C30, quad cab, 454, 21.5 ft long and weights 6750 lbs.. I have a trailer with a heavy tonge weight 1965 lbs.. 26' enclosed car trailer. Built a camper in front 9 feet. Total weight loaded and all only 8000 - 9000 lbs.. Truck has 34" rear frame rail width. Need to drop 3" to 4" from frame to reciever inlet top. Been shopping on line found curt 15485 and Draw Tite DT45519 that look like proper width. # 15485 drop is to much 6". Not sure about DT45519's width or drop, but drop looks right in picture. NEED HELP PLEASE

@DanR Thanks for the information. Where are you measuring your frame rails to get 34"? We have a custom fit hitch for a 1978 Chevy Silverado C30 that checks all the boxes you're needing. It is the Curt item # C14082. It's a class IV hitch, which tops out at 10,000 lbs. It's got a 5" drop from where it mounts to your frame to the top of the receiver. The one thing I am concerned about is your 34" frame rail measurement. The Curt item # C14082 hitch mounts on frames 31-1/4" apart. That will be center of the frame rail to center of the frame rail. The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch item # DT45519 isn't going to work. It's 39" wide closest to the receiver and 38 1/2" wide in the back.

@JerredH the frame measures 34" outside to outside. It is about 30" inside to inside.

@Dan Yeah, that's what I thought. The Curt item # C14082 hitch mounts on frames 31-1/4" apart. That measurement is from the middle of the frame rail to the middle of the frame rail.

Jerred I have been checking hitch on line. I found a 34" wide hitch that looks like it will work P/N 45520 for a Ford Super Duty. It looks like it has proper drop. Could I get dimensions for this, please?

@Dan I do not have the measurements for the Draw-Tite Hitch item # DT32MR but it is custom fit for the 2019 - 2024 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis. It will have the same width on the mounting holes as the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C15845, which also fits the 2019 - 2024 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis.

Jerred, I asked about DT45520 and you had no info. Been shopping it looks like DT45520 won't clear spring perches anyway.after looking DT45519 APPEARS THE SAME WITH DIFFRENT FRAME MOUNTS, that might clear. It just has a lighter load rating. Can we get measurements for this hitch?

Jerred, I have been looking on internet and found the Torklift Super Hitch. It appears to be a more universal fit. Part# TLD1108-30. Would appreciate any measurements you have.
