Question:
I already purchased and installed the 118269 T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector along with the 75532 Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2. They have worked out great so far on my 2012 Hyundai Veracruz. Thanks for the videos and instructions. Ive now purchased a lite camper and want to add a round 7-way connection to engage the trailer brakes on my new camper. Does some of this kit duplicate or replace my 118269 wiring? Meaning, do I need this full kit if I want to keep the 4-pole plug and just add the 7-way? Is keeping the 4-pole even an option? I will still be pulling our small scout trailer, which uses the 4-pole.

The # TK24FR will use the same ports as the # 118269 so it would need to be replaced in order to use it. Since this only has a 7-way connection, you would also need an adapter for your scout trailer. The Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716 plugs into the 7-way at the back of your vehicle converting it to a 4-way which would let you connect your other trailer.
I do have one other option for you, and that is to use the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7. This kit comes with everything you need to upgrade your existing 4-way to a 7-way. The adapter in this kit has both a 4-way and 7-way connection, so you would not need an additional adapter like the one mentioned above.
If you need a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha P3 # 90195. This is a quality, proportional brake controller that is compatible with the wiring adapter that is included with the # TK24FR as well as the # ETBC7.
I have attached some review videos, as well as installation videos for the wiring. I recommend you check out the installation of each to decide which is best for you.
