Question:
Im currently in the market for some tire chains. My tire size is 285/75R16. They will be primarily used off road in deep mud and snow conditions, with seldom on road use. I read cam tensioned chains have a tendency to come undone during off road use. What are some reccomendations?

I recommend using the Titan Chain Mud Service Snow Tire Chains # TC2440 for the 285/75R16 size tires. These chains are designed for off-road use, specifically for heavier problems like mud.
I haven't read anything about cam tensioned chains coming loose during off-road use, but I will say that we always recommend using rubber adjusters like part # TCMA2 to keep the chains snug against your tires as they will naturally raise a little off the tires due to momentum.
Please be sure to check your copy of the owner's manual for your vehicle and follow any guidelines presented there.
