Question:
I have ordered a Rockwood 2204S. There are none in my area that I can even walk through, but looking at videos on YouTube it appears that the 2204s uses the 3 step Lippert. I would like to know the radius of the steps when it is swinging down what is the furthest it sticks out when horizontal. The carport I have has a limited space to park it and I am trying to figure the best way to alter a fence if need be when I get the trailer. Thank you.

I have a solution for you, however I can not give you an exact distance without knowing the exact model number of the steps.
If you do need more room a solution would be to replace the OEM steps with a scissor style step like the TorkLift GlowStep Camper Scissor Steps - 3 Steps - Aluminum - 20" Wide - 375 lbs # TLA7803. Or you could use a pull-out style step like Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs - 9" Drop/Rise - 24" Wide - Triple - Aluminum # LC432696.
I have linked a couple articles to help you measure and determine what you may need. You can also send us the measurements and we can get you set up with the style of your choice that will fit the dimensions of your Rockwood 2204S. Also the entry height and mounting bracket dimensions are per each set of steps.
