How to Unlock the Heininger Holdings Advantage Threaded Trailer Hitch Lock?

Question:

Hi, I put this on several months ago. Now I cant get it to unlock. Am I forgetting how it works? Just put the key in and turn? I get no movement from the key in barrel. Thanks for any advice.

I have attached a video that shows how the Heininger Holdings Advantage Threaded Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock item # HE6033 functions. Your hitch may have gotten some dirt in it. I recommend spraying it down with WD-40 and making sure you get it down into the connection point really good. Let it sit for a little while then try opening it again.
