Question:

Installed. It works great but it operates in reverse, open door it closes - close door it opens. Purchased the step/ motor/ gear box with arm from Etrailet late summer, just finished installation. Can advise what may be happening. Thank you

For some reason Lippert uses two different magnet setups for their steps and the only difference is that they operate in reverse of each other. So in your situation the solution is to go with the opposite magnet switch so that it operates properly.

So since you replaced some of the electronics but then I'm sure used the same door switch you'd need to go with the other switch setup so that it operates in reverse. Basically there's two colors. There's the black part # LC369299 and the white part # LC374198. You should look at the color of yours and pick the one that is opposite.
