Question:

Hi. Im ordering a replacement switch for my Kwikee steps. I had to do the same thing a few years ago. I understand these switches come with either openinch or closedinch circuit. Well, last time I ordered the wrong one first. I do know this: The end of the switch is ROUND and WHITE. Thats the one that works. If the switch is round and white, does that mean itll automatically be the right version of open or closed?inch Seems like the one I got that was wronginch last time had a black end.

Since you have the Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC378047 then that means you have a normally closed circuit.

For a normally open circuit, you'd need the black Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC378054 instead.
