Does the Air Dam on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee have to be Removed to Install a Front Mount Trailer Hitch
Updated 06/07/2013 | Published 06/05/2013 >
Question:
Can I re-use my front air dam and just notch around the 2inch receiver part? I would like to keep it as hidden as possible.

The air dam does need to be trimmed (or removed) to install front mount trailer hitch # 65009. The skid shield, if present, would have to be removed. I have included a link to the installation instructions for this hitch so you can see the installation procedure.
