We have a SmartJack with a nine inch support plate on the bottom. Will the Trailer Valet XL attach without removing the bottom support plate?

Yes, the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL25 will work with your Lippert Smart Jack # LC643589 and the 9" foot plate. I have included a picture of us testing it on a trailer that has a 6" foot plate and there is still plenty of room for the Trailer Valet.

I have also linked a video below of the same trailer being used with the 6" foot plate and you can see that there is plenty of room between the wheels and foot plate.
