Question:
I am looking at upgrading my new to me M416 trailer. I am looking at the Timbren ASR2KHDS03. I am looking at getting electric brakes also. My question is, if I want to go with a 17in wheel what hubs and brake assemblies should I get? I was looking at the AKHD-550-35-K but it shows it only supports up to a 15inch wheel. The hubs that support a 5x5 and a 17in wheel are only for 5k lbs and above per the descriptions on the products.

The only Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension which allows you to obtain hubs/drums with a 5 on 5" bolt pattern is part # ASR3500S05 which is rated for 3,500 lbs. In order to obtain this bolt pattern with brakes you'll need the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-550-35-EZ-K and Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA. The max wheel size for this hub/drum we can safely recommend is 15" due to the surface area on the hub.

Hello Conner, I have the ASR35HS02. Are you sure this will work to get me to a 5x5 bolt pattern? Everything I have read on here says it cant be done.
