The Truck Rack Crossbar T-Slot Fit Kit # MPG8287 is an exact fit for the top channel in the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars such as the # RRVA137B-2.
This will give you four channel nuts which should be perfect for what you are wanting to try to do, as it is one for each corner of a two crossbar setup which is the most common.
