Question:
Is this hitch considered a 4 point hitch?
asked by: Dan C
Expert Reply:
Yes, the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distributions like part # BLU87FR have four points of sway control. The four points consist of two in the head and two on the frame. It's a great option for trailers with sway as it will help reduce this once it occurs. That said, there is a better option from Blue Ox for sway control and that is the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution like part # BXW1000. This system will not only reduce sway as it occurs but it will also help to prevent it from happening. The TrackPro although still a great system only works to reduce sway once it occurs.
In summary, if sway control is the end all goal of the system then go with the SwayPro but if you don't have a ton of sway and are still looking for the benefits of a weight distribution system then go with the TrackPro.
