Can I Use the Thule QM3 Mounting Hardware on a Thule Classic Cargo Box

From the description it appears that this part will give me the wider spread that I need for My Audi Q5 factory bars. I simply have not seen the Classic box mentioned. The hardware looks pretty much the same. Pictures included.

The Replacement QM3 Hardware # TH04997 is designed to fit on Thule Adventurer, Cascade, Excursion, Frontier, or Mountaineer but you may be able to make them work on your cargo box. It's likely that you will need to drill new holes to match the QM3 hardware if your cargo box's holes don't match up. I recommend that you use some Black Loctite # LT37467 to close up the holes and protect the interior of the box from moisture if you're going to be doing any drilling.
