Question:
I have a 2016 GMC 2500HD crew cab with a standard bed and a 6.7L deisel engine. I see many different answers and opinions to this questions, so in asking for yours also. Its all factory stock. What is the hitch weight for my truck? What is the Max bumper pull trailer I can get? What is the Max 5TH wheel I can pull. it has air brake controller

According to the owner's manual for your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, you have a maximum hitch weight of 3,000lbs, a maximum bumper pull of 14,500, and a maximum 5th wheel/gooseneck weight of 18,000 pounds.
Since you have a standard bed, you will want to use a sliding 5th wheel such as the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034 with the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches # DM8552011-71.
The sliding hitch is going to provide the clearance you need to safely tow your 5th wheel trailer. Additionally, with this being an automatic sliding hitch, you will not have to get out of your vehicle to manually slide your hitch, unlike most sliding hitches.
