Retracting The Cable For The Lippert ToyLok Retractable Cable Lock
Updated 09/19/2021 | Published 09/18/2021 >
Question:
If the cable will not retract is there anything you can do to make it roll back up?

Expert Reply:
To retract the cable on your ToyLok Retractable Cable Lock # LC337120, extend it until no clicking sound is heard. If you notice dirt or moisture on the cable clean it before retracting.
Allow the cable to retract back into the housing.
It may be necessary to guide the cable slowly into the housing in some situations.
NOTE: ToyLok has a built-in safety feature which slows the cable as it retracts.
If you no longer hear the clicking noise as the cable is extended then the internal mechanism is damaged and the ToyLok needs replaced.
