Question:

I have a 2020 Keystone Cougar HT 32BHS with tandem 5200# dexter axels and it came with the road armor dampener. I was wondering if this kit will work for me and just keep the road armor dampener in place being it already has bronze bushings.

You can choose to use the Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit # K71-359-00 as long as your 2020 Keystone Cougar Half-Ton Towable 32BHS does use the 2-1/4" shackle straps.

Typically the Lippert Road Armor # LC696740 will use the longer 3-1/8" shackle straps as the equalizer is taller than a basic equalizer. They have the Lippert AP Kit # LC52SV that includes the longer shackles and wet bolts. It does not include any Bronze Bushings # K71-291-00 but they are available separately if yours became damaged or the leaf springs have nylon bushings. If you go with the bronze bushings, be sure to keep them lubricated using the zerk fittings in the wet bolts.

We also have the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR46ZR which is similar to the Dexter kit with the 2-1/4" shackle straps, but does not include the stock equalizers and this kit will include a wet bolt for attaching the Equalizer rather than a standard style bolt.
