Hello. When replacing this pump what fluid is recommended to be used.

The Lippert XL Hydraulic Slideout and HLG System that is controlled by the Lippert Replacement Hydraulic Power Unit with 2-Quart Pump Reservoir Kit for RV Slide-Out IRC System # LC141111, uses automatic transmission fluid; any ATF can be used. A full synthetic or synthetic blend works best, such as Dexron II, Dexron III or Mercon 5. You'll want to fill the system to 1” of the top when all slide-outs and landing gear are completely retracted. The see through reservoir makes it easy to check oil level.
