Troubleshooting No Reverse Light Circuit Present at Rear of Truck 7-Way

Question:

I have reverse lights on my fiver but they don’t light up when I put my truck in reverse. I have a 7 pin connecter which I believe is wired correctly because all other functions work. Any ideas, thanks!

It's not totally uncommon for the reverse light circuit of a 7-way to not be active. I'd recommend using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the center pin of your 7-way for voltage when the vehicle is in reverse to see if it lights up.

It could be as simple as a blown fuse or the circuit may not be present at all which would require you to run wire to the reverse light circuit of the tow vehicle.
