Question:

Hi I carefully researched inverters for my RV 50amp. I got the 2 last week and connected today. Both times the second ac came on it shut down. What am I doing wrong?

Even the largest generators are going to struggle to start a second air conditioner while the first one is running. This is due to an air conditioner pulling 1300-1800 running watts, and then when your second one kicks on it is pulling 3600+ starting watts.

If you do not have a start capacitor installed on your AC units you should install # SSR44FR on your units. These capacitors store power to reduce the starting watts needed, and will give you generator a fighting chance of powering the AC's.
