Replacement Awning Switch for 2020 Keystone Outback

Question:

2020 keystone outback- this switch looks like an exact match other than mine says 25amp and 12volt, will this 40 amp switch work in replacement of mine, having trouble finding a 25 amp

The switch would work fine on a 25A circuit.

The 40A rating simply means the switch itself can handle up to 40 amps running through it without being damaged. You can use a higher rated switch without issue, but you couldn't use a lower rated switch on a circuit carrying more amperage than the switch is rated for. In other words, you can go one way, but not the other.

The switch fits rough openings measuring 1.85 inches tall x 1.20 inches wide. I'll provide a photo showing the pinout and function of the pins so that you can get the switch wired correctly.
