How Much Space Between Tires When Using MORryde Premium Rubber Suspension Kit for Triple Axle

Question:
Original owner of a 2006 Keystone Raptor toyhauler, model 3712, total length is 40 feet with a factory sticker showing a gvw of 15,500 pounds with triple axels so the MORryde sre4000 is within the lower range of my trailer. I have read various conflicting reports of how much height will be added to the trailer. I will perform a measurement prior to ordering. Measurement between center of each axel is 33 inch so I believe this is the proper kit. I believe I read there must be minimum of 4 inches in distance between each tire, is that correct? That will be close but I havent actually measured but will based upon your information. Given the 15 year age of the original leaf springs, is there any reason/advantages to replace them if no broken or crackes exist? I would prefer USA made replacements, do if you have a source? So my measurements should be made between each eyelet of each spring and the count the number of leafs prior to ordering please advise. Thank you in advance for your assistance

The MORryde Premium Rubber Suspension Kit for Triple Axle Trailers part # MR62TR should not change the distance between the tires as the equalizer and shackle strap dimensions should be the same as the existing. This is basically what is being determined when you measure the axle spread which for this kit should be 33". That said, the minimum distance between tires is 2" but anywhere between this and 4" and will be fine.
In regards to leaf springs, as they wear out over time they will start to flatten out. If your springs are flat then I recommend replacement. You'll need to measure the eye to eye unloaded and then note the axle capacity. The new springs will likely be shorter than the existing if they are worn. I have attached our selection below.
