Can I Get a Slide Out Topper If I Don't Have the Proper Clearance Past the Slide Out Flanges

Question:
Keystone cougar 5th wheel 2021 290rls. I have a slide out on door side of camper that has 2 awnings. One is attached to the slide out itself and the other covers the door forward. I dont have the 6 inch clearance between flange on awning and the front awning plus i also have the other awning attached to the slide out. Do i have any options for a topper here

With the lack of clearance your options are more limited but you can still get a slide topper for your slide out. You will just have to realize you may not have full coverage of the slide out. You can down size to a smaller slide out topper that allows you to have the clearance necessary. Just measure the size of your slide out from flange to flange and see how close that puts you to the 7" of clearance. Then you will just go down in slide out size until you have the 7" of clearance needed. This may not cover the complete slide out but should at least provide coverage for most of the slide out.
