I would be happy to recommend some components for you, but there is no disc brake kit currently available with the 5 on 5" bolt pattern, and none of the 5 on 5" bolt pattern hubs that are available will work with 17" wheels. You will want to stick with a 15" wheel as that is the largest wheel that will work without any issues.
Starting with the Timbren kit I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - Spindle w/Brake Flange - Off-Road Tires - 2,200 lbs # ASR1THDS02.
For braking assemblies I recommend the # AKEBRK-35, which will work perfectly with the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 84556UC3-EZ that has the 5 on 5" bolt pattern you were wanting.
Now if your trailer does not already have electric trailer brakes you will also need to add a 7-way connector # H20046 and junction box # 38656. You will also need to run # 10-1-1 from each brake magnet to the junction box using heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-5 for a weather tight connection.
Moving on to the Ark Articulating coupler you will need the Ark Articulating Off-Road Coupler for 2" Receivers - Trailer Side - 2" Ball # AR44FR which will require you to have a qualified welder install the 2" receiver # 337RT25806B on your trailer's tongue. You will use a standard ball mount with the included 2" hitch ball to hook up to the trailer.
Lastly for a trailer brake controller I really like the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR as it was designed specifically for overlanding, and with only the knob of the controller visible it keeps a factory look inside of your tow vehicle.
If you can tell me what tow vehicle you will be using I would be happy to recommend the wiring needed to get this controller installed.
