Troubleshooting Jensen AWM 970

Question:

I have a Jensen AWM 970, when I load either a DVD or CD after about 1 hour playing it stops and on the screen it reads USB loading. Can you tell me why this would be happening and also how can the problem be repaired?

That's a new issue to me on the Jensen AWM 970 but I do know that frequently these types of issues can be successfully resolved with a hard reset or a complete, extended powered down event. There is a small reset button located just above the Dolby Digital symbol at the bottom left hand corner of the faceplate. Take a pen or paper clip to press it for a hard rest. If that does not allow reset of unit and resolution with issue, attempt a full power down by removing the input power supply for at least 15 minutes before resetting the unit.

If problems persist and you choose to replace, I recommend the Jensen Stereo -AM/FM - CD/DVD - USB - Bluetooth # JWM60A. It has a rough opening dimensions of 9 inches by 6 inches by 5-1/2 inches and is the best option for a replacement, a nice upgrade too.
