Is It Normal For The L-Brackets On The Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution System To Angle Back?
Updated 08/05/2021 | Published 08/03/2021 >
Question:
Hi, I was wondering if its normal on the blue ox track pro following a tow, the l bracket assembly is angled back towards the rear of the trailer. I tap them forward when hitching up. Thank you in advance.

It is normal for those brackets to tilt some due to the bracket spacing with different size frames on the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution # BLU77FR. I spoke to Blue Ox as to if they recommend filling that gap to limit the amount of angle and they assured me that it is not necessary and the system will preform just as well with the angle as if it were perfectly flat.
I would recommend verifying that the bolts are all at their recommended torque settings, which you can find in the installation instructions that I have linked below.
