Can Vent Fan be Used With Bauer Sun-Out Vent Shade

Im wondering if you can run the vent fan with this closed? Will air still move through, but the shade can block light? Thank you

I reached out to Bauer and you will be able to run your vent fan while the # BA89VR Sun Out RV Roof Vent Shade is closed. It is not air tight, so some air will get through. However, they said the air flow will be minimal while the vent is closed.
