Question:
I purchased the Kodiak Disc Brake Conversion kit for my boat trailer several years ago from etrailer. My brake pads need to be replaced as the pad has come off the backing. I have the 10inch rotors and the trailer is used in salt water so I am thinking the stainless backing would be best. Can you recommend which pads I should purchase?

Expert Reply:
For your 10 inch Kodiak disc brake setup that's going to see saltwater the best option would be the stainless steel replacements part # K225CPSS which are a confirmed fit. These are ceramic too which means minimal brake dust and they also come with a limited lifetime warranty.
