Question:
I in box truck 1 light with a black wire. I want to install 60" LED lights but they are two wire. Have interior switch to turn cargo area light on and off. How do I wire the new 2 wire lights

Expert Reply:
2 wire LED lights and single wire LED lights will get wired pretty similarly.
On a single wire light like the Optronics LED Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light w/ Reflex Reflector - 6 Diodes - Amber Lens # MCL44AB1 you were looking at the wire is for power, and the light is grounded through the mounting hardware.
On a 2 wire LED light like the 60" LED Lights you have the white wire will get grounded to your box truck, and the other wire is the power wire.
You will need to make sure each ground wire is securely connected to the box truck and your best bet would be installing ring terminals # DW05737-1 on each ground wire, and then grounding them directly to the body of your box truck. This will make sure you get a good ground.
I included videos of of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
