Question:

I want to me able to mount a rooftop tent and alternately two kayaks on my 2021 Subaru Outback. I have Hullavators for the kayaks. What Yakima landing pads would be needed to add my old round bars to this vehicle?

Your 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon needs Yakima Landing Pad 27 for Yakima SkyLine And Control Towers - Qty 4, part # Y46VR. This Landing Pad provides the mounting points for your Yakima Skyline or Control towers.

If you are using the SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Fixed Mounting Points, Flush Rails, and Track Systems - Qty 4,part # Y53TR, you need to make sure you are using the RoundBar SL Adapter for Yakima BaseLine, SkyLine, TimberLine, and RidgeLine Towers - Qty 4, part # Y03536. You will need this adapter to attach your Yakima RoundBar to your Yakima SkyLine towers. Then you can mount the towers to the Landing Pads.

If you have the older Yakima Control Towers you can just attach the Yakima RoundBar as you did before and then attach the towers to the Landing Pads.
