Troubleshooting Pilot Light of Furrion RV Oven that won't Stay Lit
Updated 07/26/2021 | Published 07/22/2021 >
Question:
The cooling fan on my vsrd22lass oven blows out the flame and pilot. What is wrong? Oven lights ok and heats ok but after 20 or 30 minutes the cooling fan comes on and within a few minutes the flames begin to flicker and the pilot and burner go out. Why would this happen?

Expert Reply:
Pilot lights generally don't just blow themselves out unless there's an issue. Do you have anything else running off LP that is functioning correctly? Typically what you are seeing is the flame is set too low, low gas pressure, or a bad gas control valve.
