How many amps batteries do I need for 2000watts 12v inverter

This depends solely on what you're trying to power with the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter - GFCI - 2,000 Watt - 12V Item # 34278156. It can go up to 2000 watts in running power but you'll most likely be pulling less. The higher the power draw the higher the length of time needed the higher battery amp hour you'll want. If you're planning on running solely off of battery power you'll need to add up the average amperage used in an hour for all of your appliances that will be drawing power and then you can you can see how many hours you would have based on the size of your battery bank.
For example if you had the Go Power Lithium RV Battery - Deep Cycle - LiFePO4 - Group 31 - 12V - 100 Amp Hour Item # 34282738 and you were pulling an average of 5 amps an hour this battery would give you 20 hours worth of power. Obviously amperage usage will fluctuate depending on a multitude of factors but you can ballpark what you'll need power wise and for the length of time and plan accordingly for your trip.
