The brake shoes on the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 4,400 lbs # K23-462-463-00 needed for your 4400lb trailer axle measure .18" thick, and if measuring the braking material and the metal backing plate measures .29" thick.
