Correct Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control for a Lance 1475 Trailer

I have an E2 1000# to pull my new Lance 1475. The Highlander has a 500# max tongue weight, 5000 GVW. 1475 has tongue weight of 250# total GVW of 3700#. My old E2 is overkill. Any downside? Should I replace the bars with 600s?

The correct Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control for a Lance 1475 Trailer is part # FA94-00-0600 for round or part # FA92-00-0600 for trunnion. The trunnion spring bars are needed for vehicles which sit lower to the ground. The systems are both rated for up to 6,000 lbs.
If you have a higher rated system, it will be too stiff and create an uncomfortable ride. The correct spring bars can be added if you have a different version using part # FA94-02-0699 for round or part # FA92-02-0699 and part # FA92-02-0644 for trunnion.
