Question:

My bike is a Trek Verve 2 size large step thru/low step. I don’t understand how my bike will attach to this bike rack.

I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98865 for your 2015 Chevrolet Equinox. This class III receiver will accept bike racks with a 2" hitch tube. The maximum tongue weight for the receiver is 350lbs which is more than enough for 2 bikes.

To mount your Trek Verse 2 with the low step through frame you will need the Frame Adapter Bar # 64005. This will attach to your seat post and the steering stem to give you a horizontal mounting surface for your bike. It has vinyl coated hooks so that it will not scratch or damage your frame or seat post.
