The EZ Connector Magnetic 7-Way Trailer Connectors # 319-R7-02 includes both a trailer 7-way and a plug and play harness for your 2013 Toyota Tacoma. This system will not replace your factory 7-way but instead will create a additional connector. You really don't want to replace your factory 7-way as then it will limit what trailers you can tow. As the harness is plug and play you simply remove the factory connector going into your 7-way connector and insert the new harness in line. You will then be able to mount the additional magnetic 7-way where you find it is best utilized on your Tacoma.

The included trailer end is 4' of straight cord. As this usually is not long enough or if you have multiple trailers the EZ Connector Magnetic 7-Way Trailer Connector with 8' Long Cable # 319-S7-10 is what I recommend. The coiled cable reduces the changes of the cable dragging when hauling your trailer. This will need to be hard wired to your trailer. As trailer manufactures do not all use a standard wire color you will want to determine what function each color wire on your trailer controls. The new cable has the following wiring.

White: ground
Red: left turn
Brown: right turn
Black: auxiliary power
Green: tail lights
Yellow: reverse lights
Blue: brakes
