What Roadmaster Comfort Ride System Fits a Grand Design Solitude 384 with Tandem 7K Axles?

Updated 07/20/2026 | Published 07/14/2026

Question:

I am looking at ordering the RoadMaster slipper spring shock system soon for our Grand Design Solitude 384 gvwr16,800 with the Lippert 7k axles. Is the RM 2460 2570 kit the right one for my Solitude and what U bolt kit would be the one I should get too. How is the stock availability of this kit as I plan to order before the end of the month or can you hold one. If out of stock when ordered, am I charged when it ships or at time of order? Any other info you have would be helpful. Thanks, glenn

Hi Glenn,

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride suspension kit is one of the best suspension upgrades around, you'll love it once you have it installed! For your Grand Design Solitude 384 with tandem 3" diameter 7K axles, you need the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/Shock Absorbers part # RM-2460-2570. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride system will completely replace your suspension with all new equalizers, leaf springs, shocks, and mounting hardware so you'll have everything you need! As of today, 7/16/26, we have two of these kits in stock and it is charged at time of purchase. I've included a link to our technicians installing this on a 2017 Grand Design so you can get an idea of how it'll install.

What are you most trying to change about the ride quality of your camper?

I installed this system on my 2022 Fuzion Toyhauler and could not be more pleased with the system there is a very noticeable difference in how the suspension reacts to bad road conditions. I would highly recommend this system!
