Can Progressive Dynamics Converter be Power From Generator

Question:
Can I use a Generator to power Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger - 12V - 30 Amps. I have a 30 amp 5500 watt Generator. Am I able to power the same unit up to 60 amps to charge my batteries when solar is low?

Yes the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger - 12V - 30 Amps # PD9130 can be powered with a generator. This is rated for up to 30 amps though and not up to 60 amps. For a similar setup rated for 60 amps would be part # PD9160A.
