It sounds like you have an older style trailer axle with the short spindles. You will need a new Spindle # TRU44FR to mount on your axle as the short hubs are now obsolete. This will allow you to use the what is now standard length spindle dimensions.
The CE Smith Trailer Idler Hub Assembly w/ Case # CE13315 is designed to fit the newer BTR spindles that are more commonly found on trailers.
